Foxface/Rabbitfish Profile

  • Should be kept in a tank of at least 100 gallons. These fish range in size but they can reach sizes of 9 inches.
  • These are generally peaceful fish.
  • Are herbivores.
  • Use caution when placing these fish in reef tanks.
  • USE EXTREME CAUTION. THESE FISH ARE VENOMOUS OR SECRET POISON.

Water conditions should be:      Temperature: between 72 and 78 F

                                                dKH: 8-12

                                                pH: 8.1-8.4

                                                sg: 1.020-1.025

There are many variations of the Foxface/Rabbitfish ranging from bold color patterns to unique stripes and spots.

Foxface/Rabbitfish compatibility-

 

Caution should be used when placing Foxface/Rabbitfish and Rabbits with other large Foxface/Rabbitfishs, Eels, sharks/rays,Tangs/ Surgeons, Triggerfish, Wrasse, Live Coral, Invertebrates.

 Extreme Caution:  Foxface/Rabbitfishs should not be placed in a tank with seahorse/pipefish.
