Fancy Goldfish Profile
- Should be kept in a tank of at least 30gallon. These fish range in size but they will usually reach 8 inches.
- They are peaceful.
- Are omnivores.
Water conditions should be: Temperature: between 65 and 75 F
KH: 4-20
pH: 6.5-7.5
There are many fish that are considered “Fancy Goldfish”. Ranging from the Ryukin to the Moore goldfish are great pets for the beginner and have some interesting markings.
Fancy Goldfish Compatibility
Caution should be used when placing Fancy Goldfish with Invertebrates.
Extreme Caution: Fancy Goldfish should not be placed in a tank with Any Cichlid, Angelfish, Barbs, Bettas, Danios, Discus, Gouramis, Guppies, Hatchets, Killifish, Larger Catfish, Mollies, Platys, Rainbowfish, Rasboras, Sharks, Swordtails, Tetras and Brackish fish.
