Danios Profile
- Should be kept in a tank of at least 30gallon. These fish range in size but they are generally between 3 and 5 inches.
- They are generally peaceful.
- Are omnivores.
Water conditions should be: Temperature: between 64 and 75 F
KH: 8-12
pH: 6.5-7.0
Danios are very closely related to minnow and range in color and pattern.
Danio Compatibility
Caution should be used when placing Danios with New World Cichlids, Larger catfish, Invertebrates and Brackish fish.
Extreme Caution: Danios should not be placed in a tank with Malawian Cichlids, Tanganyikan Cichlids, African Cichlids and Fancy Goldfish.
